The quartet’s name was chosen in honor of the famous constellation and was intended to represent the unique qualities and talents that each member contributes to the group. Endowing their performances with a fresh perspective and cutting-edge programming, the Orions currently hold distinguished positions as Artist Members of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and Quartet-in-Residence at New York’s Mannes School of Music. They have collaborated with several legendary artists, and their performances have been featured on popular shows, including Good Morning America and National Public Radio’s Performance Today.
