Three Sedona Music Festivals in 2014

Chamber Music Sedona will present three exciting Sedona music festivals in 2014, with an enticing variety of musicians and musical styles to appeal to music lovers of all ages and tastes.

Our 2014 season began with a traditional chamber music festival from January 6 - 12 at the Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa. The Sedona Winter MusicFest featured six fabulous young artists who are re-defining chamber music for today and the future.

From March 19 – 23, we were pleased to re-introduce jazz into our festival series, with four extraordinary artists performing as Road Work Ahead in the much-anticipated inaugural of the Sedona JazzFest.

Finally, June 4 – 8 are the dates for the 9th Annual Sedona Bluegrass Festival. We are delighted to bring to Sedona one of bluegrass's most influential artists, violinist Darol Anger and his guests The Furies. See details and purchase tickets below.

Inaugural Sedona JazzFest a Huge Success!

The festival was a huge success and Chamber Music Sedona wishes to thank the many people and businesses that made it so great!

The Festival Committee - Dwight Kadar Chairman. Without Dwight's tireless energy and drive, this festival would not have been the amazing event that it was.

Bert Harclerode our Executive Director for starting the ball rolling  more than 2 years ago and having the vision and foresight to bring this event to Sedona.

Road Work Ahead (Peter Sprague, Bill Mays, Bob Magnusson and Jim Plank) for all that they contributed to this event. Their coaching, teaching and guidance during the Saturday MEAD workshops and master classes for local students was truly inspiring and the concert they put on Sunday was nothing short of excellence. We are very grateful and definitely blessed to have had this exemplary group for the inaugural Sedona JazzFest!

The CMS staff (Anna Cates, Kristine Follett and Marisol Molina) for all the background work and support of the Festival Committee.

Sound Bites Grill, Ken's Creekside, The Martini Bar, Reds at Sedona Rouge, Hoppy Grape Lounge at Sedona Wine & Beer, Tlaquepaque, The Barking Frog Grille and Oak Creek Brewery for hosting local jazz musicians and creating exciting venues for the Jazz Club Crawl and the Jazz Brunch.

The Sedona Red Rock Magic Trolley for their excellent service and flexibility.

Sedona Performing Arts Center and its staff for all their help in making the concert on Sunday a success.

The many individuals of the community who stepped up to help make this all happen.

And last, but certainly not least, all of the amazing volunteers without whom this would not have been possible!

    Winter MusicFest a Smashing Success!

Headed by Festival Artistic Directors Alexander Fiterstein and Nicholas Fiterstein with  Erin Keefe, Benjamin Beilman, Cindy Wu, the artists wowed student audiences in five different schools, delighted Salon goers, kicked off the celebration of our new Steinway 'D' Concert Grand Piano and gave two outstanding concerts that everyone loved.
